"The Creativity Workshop in Prague was one of the best workshops I've ever attended because of its seamless weave between information and experimentation. It was particularly engaging to interact with diverse participants from all over the world. I loved how we did the workshop in the morning but the afternoons were for our own exploration and also served as an extension of the workshop's ideas.
The workshop gave participants experience in practices we can integrate into our lives to nurture our creativity. I'm already now using a number of those practices in my work as a poet and a teacher.
Though I don't have a background in art, I never felt intimidated with the request to draw. Because of the way Shelly and Alejandro set the tone for the workshop, it was clear that the workshop activities were not competitive. Instead, they were given as avenues to open us to the creative current within us and find ways to swim in its water.
The Creativity Workshop affirmed my own creative quest."
